Noevo is a global student mobility platform that helps students discover, compare and apply to universities around the world. Unlike traditional study-abroad agencies that push you toward whichever institution pays the highest commission, Noevo combines an unbiased university search engine with optional human counselors based in Europe. The platform is built around fit: your academic background, language level, budget, country preferences, career goals and personal values. Instead of a generic list of universities, Noevo helps you build a focused, realistic shortlist and walks with you from first idea to final enrolment.

Noevo is not always free, but it is designed to be extremely affordable. Browsing universities, exploring destinations and using the AI counselor is open to everyone. For applications through some partner universities, Noevo charges a symbolic platform fee of €50 to cover platform and processing costs. That €50 can be fully redeemed in points you earn by completing your profile, uploading your documents, inviting friends and engaging with the platform. There are no hidden charges and no commission paid by the student on top.

Noevo earns revenue in three transparent ways: a symbolic €50 platform fee for some partner-university applications (redeemable in points), optional paid human counseling services for students who want personalised support, and B2B partnerships with schools and universities. We do not sell student data, and we do not push students toward institutions just because they pay us more.

Yes. Noevo is operated by NOEVO PTE. LTD., a Singapore-registered EdTech company. We work with universities globally and our human counselors are based in Europe.

Noevo supports students from anywhere in the world who want to study abroad. The platform is fully multilingual (English, Spanish and Chinese for now) and works with universities across Europe, North America, Asia and beyond. If you are legally allowed to apply internationally, we can usually help.

Absolutely. Many of our students arrive without knowing the country, the city, the field of study or the budget. Noevo is built precisely for that moment: to help you go from 'I think I want to study abroad' to a clear, realistic plan with shortlisted universities and concrete next steps.

Yes. Noevo follows modern data-protection standards. Your personal information, documents and academic data are stored securely and never sold. You decide which universities receive your application and what information they see.

You can chat with our AI counselor 24/7 directly on the platform, send a message through the contact form, or book a session with one of our human counselors. If you are already working with a counselor, you will have a direct line of communication throughout your application process.

A good education counselor helps you make better decisions, not just submit more applications. You probably do benefit from a counselor if you feel overwhelmed, your shortlist is unclear, your profile has gaps, you are aiming at selective universities, your family wants reassurance, or you simply do not want to go through such an important decision alone.

Yes. Noevo works with human counselors based in Europe for students who want personal, end-to-end support. Human counseling services start from €2,500. The final price depends on which universities you target, the level of support you need, and the complexity of your profile (number of countries, scholarships, visa needs, etc.). Pricing is always discussed transparently before you commit.

Typically: a deep profile review, university and program shortlisting, application strategy, document preparation and review (CV, motivation letter, recommendations), help with timelines and deadlines, interview preparation when needed, scholarship guidance, visa preparation support and assistance comparing final offers. The exact scope is agreed at the start of the engagement.

Ideally 12–18 months before your intended start date. That gives you time to research countries, take any required language tests, prepare documents, apply, wait for decisions, organise your visa, find housing and prepare financially. Some students do it faster, but rushing usually means weaker applications and more stress.

No. Noevo indexes universities globally, regardless of partnership status. Partner universities may appear with extra information or simplified application flows, but the search itself is unbiased. We believe students deserve to see the full landscape, not a curated commercial selection.

Rankings are one signal among many. They can be useful for comparing global reputation, especially for highly competitive industries, but they should never be the only factor. Two universities with very different rankings can be equally good — or even better — depending on your specific program, your career goals and your fit. Always look beyond the headline number.

No. Any agency or counselor that 'guarantees' a visa is being dishonest. Visa decisions belong exclusively to the relevant immigration authorities. What good guidance does is reduce avoidable mistakes, improve documentation quality and increase your real chances.

You usually need an admission letter to begin the visa process, but you can prepare financial proof, translated documents, passport renewals and travel insurance in parallel. Noevo offers four student plans. Free gives you an introductory personality assessment, limited Rio (AI) messages per month and public university search. Basic is for students who are actively exploring — more assessments per month, more Rio chat, and the ability to save shortlists. Pro is for students in application season — unlimited assessments, unlimited Rio chat, priority answers, unlimited partner university applications and the ability to book time with a human counselor. Custom Made is a fully-managed package with a dedicated Europe-based counselor from shortlist to enrolment. Exact allowances are displayed on the pricing page and inside the dashboard.

Paid plans are available on monthly or yearly cycles. Yearly plans are cheaper per month but paid up front. Custom Made is quoted per case. All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the cycle at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.

No. Prices displayed on Noevo are shown excluding taxes. Applicable indirect taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax, etc.) are calculated and added at checkout based on the billing country and postal code you provide. The final total, including tax, is always displayed before you confirm payment.

The tax rate applied depends on your declared billing country and, where relevant, the sub-region (e.g. US state, Canadian province). If your country requires a VAT / GST / tax identification number to issue a compliant invoice, you must enter it at checkout — we cannot reissue invoices with retroactive tax numbers.

Paddle.com is our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment, calculates and remits the correct local taxes, and issues your invoice on our behalf. Your contract for the underlying service is with Noevo; your contract for the payment transaction is with Paddle. Billing enquiries can go to billing@noevo.io or to Paddle at paddle.net.

As a rule, no. Noevo is a digital service and access is granted instantly, similar to most AI and SaaS subscription products. We do not refund partial billing periods, unused credits, or renewals that were not cancelled in time. Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) and may be granted, at our discretion, only in narrow situations such as prolonged service unavailability, a duplicate or fraudulent charge, or where a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country requires it. Full details are in our Terms of Service.

The EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services does not apply once you have started using the service and expressly waived that right at checkout — which happens when you tick the terms acceptance box on the payment screen. This is standard for digital subscription services.

You can cancel any time from your dashboard, from the customer portal linked in your receipt email, or by contacting billing@noevo.io. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee.

Paddle will automatically retry the payment. If it still fails, your account is downgraded to the Free plan and paid features are paused. Your data is not deleted — you can resume the plan at any time by updating your payment method.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against the remaining time in your current cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle so you keep the features you already paid for.

No. All payment data is handled by Paddle, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. Noevo never sees or stores your card details.

You are confirming that you have read and accept Noevo's Terms of Service, the Refund Policy (digital services are generally non-refundable), the tax treatment described above (taxes depend on your billing country), and Paddle's role as Merchant of Record. Governing law is Singapore, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.

Yes. During checkout you can add a company / school name, address and (where applicable) tax ID. Paddle will issue a compliant invoice by email.

Rio is Noevo's AI counselor. It answers questions about universities, programs, countries, visas, costs and deadlines, drafts and improves personal statements, helps you build a shortlist and explains next steps. It is available inside the dashboard on every paid plan and, in a limited version, on the Free plan.

Free plan users get a limited monthly allowance intended for exploration. Basic includes a larger monthly allowance suitable for active decision-making. Pro and Custom Made include unlimited Rio chat. Allowances reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

The composer is disabled for the rest of the cycle and Rio will let you know. You can either wait for the next cycle to reset or upgrade your plan to keep chatting.

Free users can take an introductory assessment. Basic includes several assessments per month. Pro and Custom Made include unlimited assessments and the ability to retake previous assessments as your profile evolves.

Yes. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance of partner-university applications. Pro and Custom Made include unlimited partner applications.

No. Rio is very useful but, like all AI systems, it can be inaccurate or out of date. Always double-check critical information (deadlines, visa rules, tuition figures) on the university or government website before making a decision or a payment.

No. We do not use your private profile data, documents or private conversations to train third-party foundation models. We may use aggregated, anonymised signals to improve our own recommendation quality.

Rio is a multi-model system. Depending on the task, it routes through leading foundation models (OpenAI GPT-class and Google Gemini-class models) combined with Noevo's own retrieval layer over verified university, program and country data. The model mix evolves as better models become available, but the Rio persona, guardrails and answers remain consistent.

Rio can help you brainstorm, structure, tighten and proofread your personal statement or motivation letter, but you should always be the author. Universities are increasingly good at detecting fully AI-written essays, and — more importantly — an essay that is not really yours rarely reflects who you are. Use Rio as an editor, not a ghost-writer.

Rio replies in English, Spanish and Chinese today, and understands many more languages in the input. If you write to Rio in Portuguese, French, Italian or Arabic, it will usually respond in your language, but the most polished experience is currently in the three officially supported languages.

Yes. Your chats are visible only to you and, if you invite one, your human counselor. They are not shared with universities, not sold, and not used to train external AI models.

The Free plan itself acts as a permanent free tier so you can try Noevo before paying. We do not currently offer a time-limited free trial of Basic or Pro on top of that — instead we keep the Free plan generous enough to make an informed decision.

Yes, on a case-by-case basis. Schools, universities and student groups of 10+ can request institutional pricing by contacting hello@noevo.io. Individual promotional discounts, when available, are announced on the pricing page or via email.

Through Paddle we accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and in supported countries local methods such as SEPA Direct Debit, iDEAL and PayPal. Available methods are shown at checkout based on your country.

Paddle automatically presents prices in your local currency where supported (USD, EUR, GBP, SGD, CAD, AUD and many more). Your bank may still apply a small conversion fee depending on the card you use.

If we change list prices, existing subscribers on an active plan keep their current price for the remainder of the committed period and are notified by email before any increase applies at the next renewal. You can always cancel before that renewal date.

Your account and profile stay active on the Free tier. Uploaded documents, chat history and shortlists are preserved so you can resume later. You can permanently delete your account and data at any time from Settings.

The student plans (Basic and Pro) are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or yearly. Custom Made human counseling is a one-time engagement quoted per case. The €50 partner-application platform fee, where it applies, is a one-off payment tied to a specific application.

No. Noevo never takes a percentage of your tuition and never adds a hidden margin to your university fees. You pay tuition directly to the university at the price they publish.

University, program, tuition and deadline information is sourced from official university websites and public regulator data, enriched by our team and continuously updated. Where information may have changed since the last update, Rio will flag it and link to the official source. For visa and immigration matters we always defer to the destination country's official government portal.

Yes. Noevo covers universities across North America (US, Canada), the UK, the European Union and EEA, Australia, New Zealand, and a growing list in Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Coverage depth varies by country, and we prioritise the destinations most requested by our students.

Noevo is a mobile-first web app that works from any modern browser on phone, tablet or desktop — no download required. Native mobile apps are on the roadmap.

Once your Noevo profile is complete, most partner-university applications can be prepared in a few hours of focused work spread over 1–2 weeks (essays, references, document uploads). Non-partner applications through the university's own portal take longer, mostly because each portal asks for information differently.

No serious platform can guarantee admission — anyone who does is lying. What Noevo can do is help you build a realistic shortlist mixing 'reach', 'match' and 'safety' universities, and strengthen each application to give you the best possible chance.

Most international applications require: passport, academic transcripts, diploma / graduation certificate (or expected date), CV, personal statement or motivation letter, 1–3 recommendation letters, proof of English (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo) or the local language, and proof of funds for the visa stage. Some programs also require portfolios, entrance tests or interviews.

Both are valid paths. A bachelor's abroad gives you the longest international experience and often the best local job network, but is more expensive and requires earlier maturity. A master's abroad is shorter, cheaper in total, more focused, and often has better return on investment — especially in fields like business, engineering and data. For computer science and engineering, top destinations include the US, UK, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Singapore and Australia. For business, add France, Spain, Italy and the UAE. 'Best' depends on your target companies and where you want to work afterwards, not only on rankings.
