Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Noevo is operated by NOEVO PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore ("Noevo", "we", "us"). We provide an AI-assisted platform that helps students discover, compare and apply to universities worldwide, plus optional human counseling services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using Noevo you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian), that the information you provide is accurate, and that you accept these Terms, our Privacy Notice and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or via a banner in the dashboard, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

3. Subscription plans & usage limits

Noevo offers Free, Basic, Pro and Custom Made plans. Each plan includes a specific monthly allowance of assessments, Rio chat usage, partner university applications, AI-generated reports and (on Pro / Custom Made) human counselor access. Allowances reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Exceeding your allowance will disable the corresponding feature until the next reset or until you upgrade. Current allowances are displayed on the pricing page and inside your dashboard.

4. Automatic renewal & cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or from the customer portal linked in your receipt email. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.

5. Prices, taxes & billing country

All prices displayed on Noevo are shown excluding taxes. Applicable indirect taxes — including VAT in the EU / UK, GST in India, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, sales tax in applicable US states, and any equivalent local tax — are calculated and added at checkout based on the billing country and postal code you enter. The final amount, including tax, is displayed before you confirm payment.

Tax rates and rules depend entirely on the country and, where relevant, the sub-region you declare at checkout. You are responsible for providing accurate billing details. If your country requires a tax identification number (e.g. EU VAT ID, GST number) and you wish to receive a tax-compliant invoice, you must enter it at checkout. We cannot reissue invoices with retroactive tax details.

6. Merchant of Record (Paddle)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle collects payment, calculates and remits applicable taxes, issues invoices and handles customer service enquiries related to billing, refunds and payment method changes. Your contract for the sale of digital services is with Paddle; your contract for the underlying service is with Noevo.

7. Refund policy

Noevo provides digital services that are delivered instantly on subscription. Because you get immediate access to premium features, credits, AI usage and downloadable outputs, we do not, as a rule, issue refunds for partial billing periods, unused credits, or subscriptions that renewed because cancellation was not completed in time — similar to how most AI and SaaS subscription services operate.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) and may be granted, at our discretion, only where:

• the service was demonstrably unavailable for a prolonged period,
• a payment was clearly duplicated or fraudulent, or
• a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country requires it (for example the EU 14-day cooling-off period, which does not apply once you have started using the digital service and expressly waived that right at checkout).

To request a review, contact Paddle at paddle.net or email us at billing@noevo.io within 14 days of the charge. The Custom Made human-counselor package is non-refundable once the kick-off session has taken place.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Noevo. In particular you must not: use the platform unlawfully or for fraud, spam or harassment; upload malware or attempt to probe, scan or breach the platform's security; scrape or bulk-download data; infringe third-party intellectual property; misrepresent your identity, nationality or academic credentials; or use Rio (our AI) to generate content that violates university, immigration or professional-conduct rules. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, security risk or repeated policy violations.

9. AI-generated content

Rio and our other AI features can be inaccurate or incomplete. Outputs are provided for guidance only and do not constitute admission decisions, legal, financial, visa, tax or medical advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content you submit to a university, immigration authority or third party. Do not paste confidential documents you are not allowed to share with a third-party AI provider.

10. Student data & privacy

You retain ownership of your personal data and application materials. We use your data only to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Notice. We do not sell student data. Data is shared with a specific university only when you explicitly submit an application to that university.

11. Intellectual property

All content, branding, software, AI prompts and models, university metadata and platform design on Noevo are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform within your active plan. You must not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or use our data to train competing AI systems.

12. Warranties & liability

Noevo is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee admission to any university, visa approval, scholarship award or any specific outcome. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of Noevo is capped at the total fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, opportunity or goodwill, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law (e.g. fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Noevo harmless from any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, from content you upload or submit through the platform, or from your unlawful use of the service.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, including any question regarding their existence, validity or termination, will be referred to and finally resolved by the courts of Singapore, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to it.
